Honoring Our Veterans — Gratitude from the Heart
Jillian Finkbeiner | NOV 11, 2025
Today, my heart feels wide open with gratitude.
Gratitude for the courage, the service, and the love of every veteran who has given so much to keep us safe and protected.
Happy Veterans Day to each and every one of you — and to your families, who stand beside you with strength and love.
Thank you for your bravery.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your devotion, your protection, your presence.
Thank you for the ways you continue to share your stories and teach us about love, courage, and compassion in action.
Some of my most moving memories come from watching veterans visit schools, share their experiences, and light up as they speak with children. You can feel how healing those moments are — not only for the listeners but for the storytellers too.
Today, I want to honor Bill Cooper, a dear family friend and a beautiful example of kindness and strength.
Bill, your presence and the way you share your story with such warmth inspire everyone who hears you — including the children whose faces light up when you talk about your service (and, of course, the dog 🐾).
Your energy radiates love. Thank you for embodying the very essence of courage, humility, and heart.
As I recorded my message of gratitude today, I found myself getting emotional — my voice caught, my heart swelled, and I felt that familiar warmth in my chest.
That’s the heart chakra opening — the energy of compassion flowing freely.
Our voices are more than words; they’re frequencies of love.
When we speak gratitude aloud, we create a vibration that heals — for ourselves, for others, and for the collective.
So to all the veterans and all those who have served in any way:
💛 You are loved. You are appreciated. You are seen.
Take a deep breath in through your nose…
Exhale slowly through your heart.
Let gratitude ripple through your body — a wave of peace, honor, and love.
May today remind us to keep our hearts open, to speak our gratitude, and to live in harmony with the courage and compassion our veterans model for us every day.
